Hello, November
November brings about the transition from fall to winter. The start of Christmas season for most. Thanksgiving, a.k.a. the food holiday. People’s spirits start to change as Halloween winds itself out and the excitement of Christmas creeps in.
November also for years has been a month that people have used for National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo). I try to keep with it as well as it was the first time I participated in NaBloPoMo. It is usually how I jump start my blogging again. But as I said before, I usually fall off but trying not to do that again this time.
And while I will defend Thanksgiving to the end, it gets the short being between Halloween and Christmas; it is not one of my more favorite holidays. Thanksgiving is always one of the most stressful holidays for me, especially when splitting it between two families. I understand the meaning behind it, and am thankful for many things I have been blessed with in my life. I also don’t take just one day to express that thankfulness for them to the Lord.
So, hello November. Welcome. Be kind to us; you usher in a new spirit for people.
