Top Ten Tuesday – Thankful Freebie

Today’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is Thankful Freebie. I sometimes get a little flustered with the freebie topics because than I have to come up with something on my own. So, for the first time in a long time, I read other’s answers to this topic to get some direction on where I wanted to go with my list today. (I usually read them after I have written mine because we are given direction with what to write with the topic).

I have already written a post about Thirty Things I Am Thankful For. And in November of 2021 the topic for Wednesday Weekly Blog Challenge was Traditional Thanksgiving Foods I Like Or Dislike, and I mentioned both. I have decided my Top Ten list this week is Musical Artists I Am Thankful For.

Maroon 5 – I have liked Maroon 5 since they were Kara’s Flowers. I saw them most recently in September of 2021 and it was a great concert. I just really like their songs.
Lauren Daigle – I really enjoy Lauren’s voice.
Frankie Valle & The Four Seasons – I have always enjoyed Frankie Valle’s voice. The old songs are classics and are catchy; fun to listen to, fun to sing.
Reba McEntire – Reba has a very classic and easily recognizable voice. She has a consistent voice.
Michael Jackson – I mean…it’s Michael.
Third Eye Blind – one of my favorite alternative rock groups. I love all their songs.
NEEDTOBREATHE – one of my favorite Christian genre groups. Great sound, great songs.
Taylor Swift – as much as I want to dislike Taylor her songs are good, and they relate to a lot of things in life. Plus most of them are catchy.
Def Leppard – have liked them since the late 80s/early 90s. I think they are one of the best rock bands.
The 80’s Music Genre – okay so not an artist per se, but I love the 80’s music genre and all of the artist from that time frame. I listen to 80’s music a lot.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

I like less of Taylor’s songs off her new album, but I have a couple I put on repeat and I really like most of her old songs, too. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my website on this week! Really grateful.

I like this twist! Yeah, Taylor has some super catchy songs, and I’m impressed by how long Maroon 5 has stuck around making great music.

When Freebie topics come around, I take note of bloggers who come up with great topics and sometimes borrow those topics for the next Freebie post if I can’t think of something else to write about. 🙂

Great topic!! haha- I’m laughing at your Taylor comment. I’m sure a lot of people feel that way! I’ve managed to stay out of Swiftie world but mostly because I’m into a different genre.
