Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Today’s topic for Tuesday February 14, 2023 is a Love/Valentine’s Day Freebie. I usually don’t like the freebie days because then I have to come up with my own topic to write about and I am lazy and often uncapable of coming up with topics. But sometimes the freebies are nice because you aren’t tethered to a specific topic or idea.
I don’t read a lot of love or romance novels but I do read books that have love stories in the plot lines. I have a tendency to bring up books I have read quite a few times including The Folk of Air Series, All Souls Trilogy, Circle Trilogy, Caraval Trilogy. All of which aren’t necessarily love/romance novels but have a love story in the plot that often times is a large part of the plot. Another I talk a lot about is Eleanor & Park, which is a YA novel that has a strong love story to the plot line.
My list for today is ten books that are love stories that are listed as “must read”. My goal is to read 25 books this year. I am trying to read books I haven’t read before, although I am sure there will be so rereads I have this year, specifically Serpent & Dove and Blood & Honey, as I plan to read the last of this series this year Gods & Monsters.
I have Every Summer After on my TBR. Fingers crossed I get to read it soon.

I rarely read romance, but I’ve actually read a few of these. I didn’t care for REBECCA at all, but I liked FANGIRL, THE NIGHT CIRCUS, and THE UNHONEYMOONERS. I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
